Workshop for Educators:

Intro to App Development with Swift

Join us for an in-person, hands-on  workshop.

This two-day workshop is a great way to investigate how Swift might fit into your Computer Science curriculum, or how you can start coding pathways in your schools.

Geared toward computer science teachers and tech coordinators – you’ll learn the basics of coding for iOS devices, while exploring Apple’s iBook Intro to App Development with Swift. Participants will navigate Apple’s learning resources, learn a bit of Swift, and walk away having built some simple apps.

Workshop attendees will:

  • Explore and use the new Apple curriculum in iBooks and Xcode
  • Code a basic app in Swift, using Xcode – Apple’s professional developer environment
  • Reflect on how to incorporate Swift into Computer Science courses

Workshop details:

  • June 21st & 22nd  | 9am – 3:30pm  (Registration & payment deadline June 1, 2018)
  • Apple Executive Briefing Center, Chicago, IL
  • Cost:  $495 per participant

To register, complete and submit the form, and we’ll be in touch!
